MORGAN: THE HISTORY, THE ACTUALITY AND THE FUTURE.

Morgan is a group of companies, based in Italy, Coccaglio (Brescia).

The group leader is Morgan Tecnica Spa, which takes care of designing and production of machinery for the cutting room in the clothing industry and, more in general, in all type of industries where automatic fabric spreading and automatic fabric cutting can be required (furniture, upholstery, bags and cases, auto motive etc...)

Instead, Morgan Dynamics srl, looks after designing and development of software to manage machines produced by Morgan Tecnica as well as independent programs, such as garment CAD system, PDM for Garment Technical Spec's Sheet, Cut Order Planning for Work Order Optimization etc...

Part of the group is also G.A. Morgan Dynamics Pvt, based in Bangalore - India, which represents operative reference base for the Asian market, with a direct stuff of highly professional and experienced people for sales and technical support.

Morgan comes out from an idea of Federica and Fabrizio Giachetti, respectively former product manager e marketing director of Ima spa (as well as daughter and son of one of the charter member of Ima). They felt the need for a new and independent identity, in order to continue and express at best their family technical inheritance and the same vision for a fully automatic, efficient and organized cutting room, which has been inspiring their job for several decades.

In fact, many of the most popular technological solutions for the spreading and cutting room organization actually belongs to intuitions of their father Franco Giachetti, today Morgan consultant, such as: automatic spreading without clamps, electronically controller fabric feeding, automatic laying up of irregular step lays, zig zag spreading with ends cut, first study of Cut Plan.

Moreover Canali, worldwide leader in the production of strictly Made in Italy classic menswear, shares in this project from the beginning as Morgan active partner. Morgan therefore has a very special DNA, where the know how of some of the most estimated cutting room specialists mixes up with the point of view of an extra-ordinary final user, as well as with the prestige and solidity brought by one of the Italian style symbols in the world.

Style and technology, modernity and tradition.

The mission is to carry out, through deep research activity, products of excellence for the cutting room, under the technological content, the width and flexibility of the offer and the reliability points of view.

Through an extra-ordinary working team, made of protectionists with the highest experience and expertise, it was possible to carry out many projects already, all original and innovative, for a complete range of products for the cutting room (machines and software), which are already working in several companies, in Italy and abroad. The Morgan R&D work is anyway not going to slow down, instead many new projects are near to be completed and will be soon presented.
